Caroline Bouffard

Caroline Bouffard, a native of California, has lived and traveled abroad for over 20 years. She was educated at UC Davis, The American University of Paris and holds an MBA from the University of Hartford, CT.

More recently, Caroline has been studying intensively with industry-known educational consultants through University of California at Irvine’s Certificate for Independent Educational Consultants. She has gained valuable, up-to-date knowledge in the fields of US college counseling, Financial Aid advising, counseling International and Third Culture Kids, as well as Resources for the college-bound student.

With this expertise, Caroline offers families the latest information about the complex world of college admissions. She works side by side with students to help them achieve their personal college goals. Her international experience and guidance helps reassure families that their son or daughter will find a perfect college or university for them.

As a Professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, Caroline adheres to a strict code of ethics whereby she cannot guarantee admission to any particular institution but rather uses her experience and personal knowledge to help the student reach their full potential and experience a successful and rewarding college application process.

Each year, Caroline is committed to visiting as many college campuses as possible. In addition, she attends conferences, workshops and webinars in order to understand the latest trends in college admissions.

Finally, Caroline believes that every student is unique. She works with students to determine their strengths, areas for improvement, their likes and dislikes. She can work as a ‘buffer’ within families and help eliminate the stress that often surrounds the process.
